Hello, I'm a problem: my webcam doesn't work.
My notebook is 32 bit cpu with installed Kubuntu 8.04.

When I do 'sudo insmod ./sn9c20x.ko':

alarich...@branwen:~/microdia$ sudo insmod ./sn9c20x.ko
insmod: error inserting './sn9c20x.ko': -1 File exists

When I type 'dmesg' I get lots of stuff ending with:

I've looked around the discussions but I can't work out where to go
from here--I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

You're corrct - there are quite some errors and warnings in this ouput but the final state seems to be fine.

Did you test if video capturing works? If not, please do so.
