The reason that line is needed is because a few lines before that you
have one that sets it to 0x8008, as lone is the high bit is set all
changes to exposure settings, window sizes, gain, blanking, etc are
frozen till it is unset.

How is it going with the mt9v112 code didn't you have that mostly
working except for the wrong resolution being outputted by the sensor?
did you try what i suggested about changing the context B reducer
output sizer registers?
