Hi All
I'm pretty new to this group so please forgive me if
this is an oft' asked question.
I live in the NW of Ireland and have a small but
constant stream flowing about 100m from where I live.
I have set up a small hydro system. The intake is
approx 18m above the tubine and I've been using a 50mm
pipe which is 200m long to bring the water to the
turbine. We got a small pelton wheel and bolted it to
an old car alternator. It generates a little power but
hardly anything. I was wondering what is the best
solution for a small homebrew turbine and where could
I lay my hands on one.
any ideas welcome
Thanks
Rob
