Hi

We recently installed a 3kW invertor and connected to a switchboard with a
main switch, then RCD (Residual Current Device) and outgoing Circuit
breakers. The Invertor runs, supplying the switchboard OK while the
outgoing circuits are connected to the switchboard, but as soon as the load
is switched on the RCD will trip. We did get the RCD to stay on once with a
load connected which just adds to the confusion. To allow the loads to be
used we bypassed the RCD.

Has anyone struck this before?? What have they done to fix it??

Thanks

Peter
