[midgard] Mysql issues with PHP-Midgard

I got Midgard working last night.

But now everytime any of my php3 apps, including midgard call Mysql its
leaving a sleeping process, until memory fills up and I need to restart
mysql. Any ideas? Is it a setting? Is it a bug?  Please help.
