This sounds strange. Have you checked that the user
account you are logged in with is in the administrator
group? The Admin Site doesn't currently give any warnings
when failing to do something due to insufficient
permissions.
Also, looking at the source HTML for that resulting
(empty) page might give information on what went
wrong (look for any PHP debug messages there).
One other possibility would be that your Midgard
installation doesn't have the needed permissions for
updating the Midgard database. Check out the user
table in MySQL if this could be the case.
