Sure they can, but many spiders are configured not to cache dynamic pages (iow: pages that set an expires header or equivalent). So whether your pages get indexed depends on the configuration of the spider, and on whether your page emits an expires header. Midgard doesn't by default. AAMOF, not even your run-of-the-mill perl CGI script will emit them without the programmer explicitly making it, although again, many spiders may be hard-wired to ignore URLs starting with /cgi-bin/.
