Not sure, but look at this:

BLADE is a Web-based environment similar in nature to Zope, Mason, and
Midgard. What distinguishes BLADE is its underlying technology, CORBA,
which permits BLADE to function with and support any programming
language. Further, BLADE supports object embedding from any language
into any Web page, and as such is the first enviournment to allow the
embedding and communication of Perl, Python, and C objects within the
same page.

fascinated me.
But Im not sure about content managment. Didnt have time to have a look at it.
