... and I have full respect for these people :). I may know a little
about computers but I'm a big-time luser when it comes to cars,
for example. Basically, I know how to drive one and how to call
the shop when it doesn't do what I expect it to do[0].

Midgard is a long way off from being this to these people, if you take
downloading the sources (or even the RPMs) as point of origin.
But you're going to need a competent staff to install and maintain
those 3 servers anyhow, so I don't see the technical maintenance
(when compared to MediaSurface) as a problem. But is not,
for example, FrontPage (and ain't that a relief!).

Oy, just tell them you want to order the BeoWolf 2000 from SGI,
spray-paint the cases black, stick on some KnightRider effects
(available for next to nothing at your local geekshop)[1] and
pocket the 70% of budget you saved :)[2]

Bye,
Emile

[0] Much to the technicians amusement, the cable from the battery
had come loose. That was all. I hadn't even bothered to lift the
hood. Good thing the boss took care of all carbills then.
[1] You may laugh, but I've seen this work! Dilbert ain't got nothing
on me.
[2] This part was fantasy, alas.
