The way passwords are stored/crypted and the meaning of the leading '**'
have not changed.

In case of sitegroups this is nearly so. To login as admin you'll have to
use 'admin*', with password 'password' in the default case. This will give
you full access to all sites, albeit combined, which is why you'll usually
only be creating new host entries and the associated admin groups in this
mode. Dropping back to admin!sitegroupname will only show the selected
sitegroup which is a lot less cluttered.
