Hi @ll,
I'll try to setup the beta realease: the most parts during the installation
seems to work. Only the depedencies are a little problem, because I use a SuSE
system and not a Red Hat. But the use of --nodeps seems to cancel this problem
(I hope, that it really does :-)
Now I have the problem, that the libgd.so.1 is missing on my system (so the
start of apache failed during the loading of midgardphp). SuSE shipped this lib
as static linkable lib (libgd.a). Any chance, to get this library from everwhere
or to disable the use of it?
What is the function of the other modules
(midgard-php-imap-1.4b3-1mdk.i586.rpm and
midgard-php-pgsql-1.4b3-1mdk.i586.rpm). Do I need them for a simple test
installation?
And another (I hope the last *g*) question:
Is it possible, to give users (or a group) only read rights for some documents?
Is it possible, that documents, created on one virtual host can be accessed
(read) from users of another virtual host (in my case, there are some groups,
every has only some maintainers of the every side, but I have user, who will
only allowed to read documents. In every side there will be some documents,
which should be (readable) shared with users from other sides. Is it possible,
to implement such a right access structure?
Sorry that I have this not tested. But I have only read the manual (at this
time).
regards
