You're right, we only have SuSE packages for Midgard.
I don't maintain the SuSE packages, but for RedHat I was able to use the
1.2.5 specfile to build 1.4b3 with only minor modification (to enable
sitegroups). My guess is that the 1.2.5 suse specfile should be similarly
reusable.
