This, and Emile's favourite
aclocal && automake -a -c; autoconf
Both say for me:
automake: configure.in: `PACKAGE' not defined in configure.in
automake: configure.in: `VERSION' not defined in configure.in
automake: no `Makefile.am' found or specified
But the package then builds OK. Is it safe to ignore these.
And, seeing the name Emile makes me ask, did anyone read Emile Kastner when
young?
