Emile, thanks for the quick reply! I have added /usr/local/lib to
/etc/ld.so.conf but I am lost when you say to re-run ldconfig. I tried
entering "ldconfig" from the /etc/ prompt line, but I got an error. I did a
man on ld and totally got lost in the description of what ld is.
Remember, I am an RaQ newbie and I just don't understand all the lingo.
Could you please describe what I need to do to "re-run ldconfig after the
installation? Do I simply run some command and then restart httpd without
recompiling midgard-php-1.4beta4?
