AA did indeed have some trans-Atlantic service with 757s. I don't remember much 
about it except the FAs would complain about the deck angle during their 
service. Those carts seem very heavy when you have to push them up hill. 
 
Delta is now flying many of our old 757s across the Atlantic, quite profitably 
as I understand it. 
 
Sigh.
