Hi, Omar. A feature is currently under development to remove meeting
requirements. I don't believe the patch has been checked in, however.

Thanks a lot for the help, it worked for me now.

Why can't we get rid of the meetings thing! maybe in some cases no
meeting are required! isn't this an option that might be helpful for us?

again, your help is really appreciated,

Omar

Hi Omar,

There is a business rule that states that a loan repayment frequency
(weekly, monthly, etc) needs to match the loan product repayment
frequency.

See Meeting schedules in the Functional Spec:
http://www.mifos.org/knowledge/functional-specs/meeting-requirements
"Loan repayment time has to be divisible by the meeting time. If the
loan repayment frequency is different from the frequency of meetings,
then client or group cannot apply for that loan."

I saw in your loan product jpeg that the loan product has a monthly
repayment schedule. You should check to see if your client's meeting
schedule is also monthly.

While this is not intuitive in the system (the question has come up
before!) and we could find a better way of messaging this-- the scenario

of creating loan products and clients with different meeting/repayment
schedules wouldn't really happen at an MFI-- really only happens in
testing situations when folks are playing around with the system and
entering test date.

Hope this helps!
Emily.
