you might be implying that 1.) we're ready for model-driven development and
2.) everyone has bought into it ;)

Argo UML does a good job at reverse engineering the code - I did it a few
months ago.  i'd take reverse-engineering the code out of scope in your
efforts though - for your own sake ;)

Also, you should definitely take a look at yWorks:

the trick with yWorks is making their license agreement work with ours
(apache 2.0).

personally i think we should just use GraphViz since it has many Wiki
integrations.  it's good at communicating simple modeling and might be a
better "first-step".
