Udai Gupta resolved MIFOS-2474.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fixed in trunk r16768
Discrepancies in Financial Transactions - Debit and Credit.
The "posted amount" of a financial transaction will be entered as positive
value, no need to decide -ve or +ve posted amount based on Chart of Accounts as
GLCode and DebitCreditFlag is enough to for accounting purpose and sign of
amount is a redundant information.
Unit tests for some *AccountingEntry classes from the patch submitted by Keith
Pierce. The patch from Keith Pierce also added improvement in main code.
[KeithP] FinancialActionCache and ChartOfAccountsCache are now encapsulated in
FinancialBusinessService, where it can be refactored away without affecting
BaseAccountingEntry and its subclasses.
Fixed some tests (including acceptance tests dataSet) which were testing
negative posted amount in a financial transaction.

> Looks like there are some corrections that need to be done in the
> Posted_Amount
> column for each financial transaction.
> When principal is posted, the Posted_amount shows a positive number for debit
> and negative number for credit. The Debit_Credit column also correctly shows
> this.
> however, when interest is posted, the Posted_amount is always positive whether
> it's a debit or credit.
> This is for accounting integration purposes, so if it's not being used
> elsewhere, I think we just need to make the decision to always use positive to
> show debit and negative to show credit, or only use positive numbers, but use
> the Debit_Credit column to correctly show if it's a debit or credit.
