Ryan Whitney commented on MIFOS-2737:
-------------------------------------
I think I've narrowed it down to why we're seeing this issue on the front end.
Somehow, Mifos is creating groups with the same Search IDs in the customer
table.
If you run this query on KEEF, you'll see occasions where two or three records
have the same SEARCH ID.
select SEARCH_ID, COUNT(SEARCH_ID) AS num_of_ids FROM
customer
GROUP BY SEARCH_ID
ORDER BY num_of_ids DESC
When I ran this on a sample of an al majmoua database, every record had an
unique search_id.
Why this is happening, not sure, but I can see why the effect.
Example
Group: Express Limuru Women - customer id = 5839
Group: ITHANGA GLORY B - customer id = 6654
Both have search id 1.37
> New group is preloaded with clients from different group

> When they create a group at KEEF, the group is preloaded with Clients (From
> other groups) without entering the data.
> From Maina:
> For example we can have a group called Ryan, with clients Jane, Mike,
> John and James. When I create a new group Maina and Ed, the clients under
> Ryan appear in the new groups i.e. Jane, Mike, John and James. That was one
> instance
> another example: Groups that are mixing up.
> For example we have the group Ryan, Ed and Maina.
> When I add a Client in Maina or Ed, the client appears in the Ryan
> group.
> This issue is to track behavior reported by Maina on user list.
