Gayl,
As I understand from what you said, you changed the meeting date of the
customer from 1st to 8th. If the loan did not exist at this stage as you
indicated, then nothing else would happen except for a reschedule of dates of
when loan officer visits center (customer_schedule).
When the loan is created, all installments fall on 8th of month as expected.
As collection sheet is based on when loan officers gos to centers, it finds the
nearest 'meeting date' before or equal to today. so on the 8th of the next
month when there should be another meeting. the collection sheet will return
8th of month YYYY and this date should match an 'installment' date from your
loans and show these loans for collection on collection sheet.
Before the 8th of next month, it will keep returning 1st of last month (the
previous meeting date).
If this is not happening, then there is something else wrong and the only way
to know is to look at data in customer_schedule table for the given center.

> Components: Collection Sheet Entry
> Affects Versions: Release 1.6.0, Release 1.6.1
> Environment: version 1.6

> Fix For: Release E - Iteration 12, Release E

>
> For most centres this data entry screen for bulk entry of collection sheets
> is working fine. We have one centre which was originally set up with a
> centre meeting date of the 1st of the month. Prior to loan creation we
> updated the date to the 8th of the month.
> We are using version 1.6 with LSIM enabled.
> When we try to enter the repayments for Oct 8th the first repayment for this
> centre the "Enter Collection Sheet Data" is defaulting to October 1. and as a
> result there are no repayments due on that date. This field is greyed out
> for all centres and hence is non editable.
> We had to go into each client's loan account and apply the payment manually.
> We let it default to todays date for the payment, the repayment schedule does
> record it against the Oct 8th expected payment.
