This is Anand here. I am volunteering with a NGO(called ASSCOD) based in
chennai,India. They are planning to start a new MFI. I am the person
responsible looking after the technological side of the NGO.
I have heard a lot about Mifos. I would like to know what are the advantages
and the limitations of it so that I can explain the same to the NGO head who
is keen to know more about it.
I have downloaded Mifos and even installed it. But, since it is just a blank
database, I fiddled only with the interface and other function.
So,I request anyone to send a link or document by which it would be easy to
know the various good feature of Mifos as well as shortcomings present in
it.
I am willing to work on improving the software and minimizing the
shortcomings in the Mifos.
