Clarification of yous points
Deployment cost means:
You have to adopt Application server and Database server (if your planing is
going with web setup) for running Mifos,initially you can go with one
machine.As you know the costing of servers are high rather than a simple
computer.
You have a practical example of grameekoota which have more than 2.5 lac
clients and more than 100 branches.you can ask them their experiance.I
suggest Mifos go with the oracle security wise as well as data handelling
wise the best option.
The experts catageories the database as following:
1.Oracle
2.Sql Server
3.Mysql Pro
But it costs high. For any small MFI the Mysql is the good option.
Mifos is trying to integate with mostly using accounting packeges.For
Indians there is good news our Tally is on top priority.
