Julio, You can continue with the documentation translation for now. The screens being translated now with the new L10n tool are for pages that have a new UI back end. This is going to be a gradual translation over time.
We do for a current customer have some existing UI screens that still need to be translated. I'm still figuring out which ones those are and will let you know when I do. I think it's comparable to the English in the different English speaking countries. The main differences are in pronunciation and in spoken language. In those aspects, there are differences as well from one country to another within Latin America... However, in formal written spanish, and specially in documentation, the differences are really small, just a few words (like gas and petrol in English). These words will be very infrequent in Mifos documentation, and I can keep an eye on them... so no problem, I can translate Mifos documentation for Latin America, I have as well doublechecked we use the same finantial terms looking at southamerican banks websites.
