Ryan,
Regarding point #2 - I don't want to be a bottleneck to talking to any
customers so you should definitely reach out directly on your own if you'd
like.
The challenge then becomes having the right individual and their contact
info. You should be able to find this on your own by looking up the MFI in
Who's Using Mifos section, each MFI profile should have the name of the
project champion/manager. You can then use the community search tool (right
hand sidebar on http://mifos.org/community) to find contact info or you
could find it on google group or ask me for it :)
I had a google doc spreadsheet with the contact information of each
user/specialist but that disappeared in the google apps migration. I will
rebuild that spreadsheet in parallel with conducting this user survey about
what version of Mifos/BI, etc each MFI is currently on?
For the long-term I want to determine the best process of creating an
identity for each user and how this identity improves communication and
collaboration and stickiness across the broader community. I went halfway
there with the user profiles on mifos.org but those are limited in their
usage and we should revisit using the JIRA Studio profiles. This will feed
into our overall long term vision of thinking around the social gamification
that can help grow participation in the community.
