To clarify some of things, "Mifos X Pilot User Program" is free host
service, no need of any local installation (fir timing just forget about
installing and just worry about using it :), if you are eligible for it
then you get some thing similar to "https://aci.openmf/community-app/app"
to access you instance of MIfosX, and MifosX comes with data import tool,
using that you can import ACI's clients, loans and transactions.
in a nutshell what you need do is,
Step 1) Does ACI has infrastructure to access online MifosX (at-least 2
hours a day or 10hrs a week ) ? If yes, then I think you can try hosted
solution through "Mifos X Pilot User Program"
Step 2) Request for pilot user access through
http://mifos.org/product/mifos-x/pilot
Step 3) If ACI is eligible, you get access link similar to
https://aci.openmf/community-app/app
Step 4) Import data using data import utility
Step 5) Start using it :)
