I tried the "Closing Entries" option as you said. Working now. thanks for your
suggestion.
But, the Balance sheet report still remains the same. May i know the balance
sheet not working as per the "Closing Entries"?
because the "balance sheet" pentaho report doesn't have a "Start Date"
Parameter. as you said when we editing the reports they seem to fail in
receiving the DB credentials. May i know is there any way to edit the report or
else change the DB credentials as per need?
We need a balance sheet pentaho report "2019-04-01" to till now only. But it
has been shows all data and End date parameter only available.
Please be give me any alternate way if you know.

The value of the "financial-year-beginning-month" is used to calculate interest
calculation on the savings account, they have no bearing on the reports AFAIK.
The Pentaho reports run on query and also on editing the reports they seem to
fail in receiving the DB credentials, probably that is why the edited reports
are empty.
Lastly if the start-date and end-date are provided the financial reports are
generated according to those dates and so any range of dates can be provided
for generating reports. And to disallow creating entries after a specific date
the feature of Closing Entries exists under Accounting.

I need to know about the "Financial Year" in mifos x.
For example if we set a "financial-year-beginning-month" value as '4' in the
"configuration" where it can be reflect?
1. it can be not allowing the accounting entries for previous month(1,2,3) ?
2. The Balance sheet report generate based from "4th month" to "END_DATE" ?
please be reply me if anyone have knowledge about this.
And also we need some clarification based on the this. That's why i am asking
the above question.
Currently we have data from "2019-01-01" and "financial-year-beginning-month"
is also '1'. But as per our organisation rule the financial year beginning
month is "APRIL".
So, we need to generate a balance sheet report from "2019-04-01"(YY-MM-DD) to
end_date in the report.
I tried some ways to generate a report for our requirement
1. just change the value of the "financial-year-beginning-month" is '4'. But
nothing can change in the "Balance sheet" report. It same as a old report.
2. also copy the database to local and open the pentaho report file(prpt flie)
via "Pentaho report designer"tool. After that i have add start date parameter
and change some query related to start date and end date. Those changes i have
made in all Sub-report also. After the change i just got a empty report. But
before the changes i have got a report data.
i think it's something related to accounting.
So, please be reply any one have idea about this.
