We've seen a lot of variation on the Tycon POE switches ( v. different
from just a poe adapter ) from the back to the front ( ethernet ) side.
We use the ones that output whatever is supposed to be input and some
have had as much as 1.5V drop. We have also had a lot of returns on
them. So much so that the last one that failed I just opened to see
what the failure might have been and it looks like it is related to one
of the daughter boards.
