I hadn't even seen the RB800, nice. So I could use that with the
expansion card.. only 3 gig ports though. Would fit for some of my needs
though.
Does the CA800 case fit if you use the expansion card?

The original question was about moving from AH platform up to the PPC
stuff (rb800/600/1100 etc.). A simple answer is that there is MUCH
better throughput from the PPC @800MHz than the AH @680. I would not
recommend the RB1100 and the RB1200 (a step down) is not available
everywhere, yet (not sure it's even in the US market, yet). RB800 with
expansion card (19 ports total, 3GigE + 16 10/100) would be a good
option. RB800 is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than RB1100, IMO, because it has
a better ethernet chipset.
