So it looks like using the multiplexor increase the amount of shared memory from 4.7 megs to 16.6 megs. So your memory utilization for server sizes would be: 2.39 25M first slave +9M per additional slave. 2.38 25M first slave +20M per additional slave. So you see signifigant memory savings event with the low number of slaves. Even with high numbers you would see, such as 10 slaves. 2.39 25M+(9*10)= 115M 2.38 25M+(20*10)= 225M So it uses less then half the memory that 2.38 does. Awesome! David F.
