I haven't used RBL's in the past because of the network latency in making
over 200k internet DNS queries per day. However i recently got rsync
access to the spamhaus.org sbl and xbl lists, and have been maintaining a
local copy using rbldnsd. I think the local DNS/network is fast enough to
keep up. Thoughts?

Are the spamhaus.org lists any good? Any horror stories? What about
other's? Lucas mentioned surbl. I see i can get rsync access to surbl,
which is good. I may try it out. Any others?

Also should i just use a sendmail dnsbl, or let Spamassassin do the dnsbl
queries? There are advantages and disadvantages either way. Where in
Spammassin can i disable all the public RBL's but only leave access to my
local RBL?

Lastly any general thoughts on using RBL's? I used to be very much
against the use of RBL's... but the Spam coming through is already way out
of hand.
