One thing I am sure about in all this is that when armed loonies are
on the loose you don't want your police in a briefing session.  It
appears in the UK that this is just what we do, and when they have
been through the first, we send them on a second.  I suspect a "new"
terrorist tactic will be to draw in unprepared cops in order to start
a gun battle.  I'd tend to feed them the anti-gun lobby first, at
least after we'd run out of politicians.
