Bryson indicates that temperatures have been rising since before the industrial revolution as we are existing a little ice age and denies warming as a result of carbon dioxide in the air. *Reid Bryson is Emeritus Professor of Meteorology, of Geography and of Environmental Studies. Senior Scientist, Center for Climatic Research, The Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies (Founding Director), the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Many climatologists regard him as the father of climatology. Bryson holds the 30th PhD in Meteorology granted in the history of American education If Lovelock's "lifeboats" of the world do not maintain sustainable resource then for sure the doom is imminent.
