Molly, What I have seen can be applied to all but it never is applied on the level of many, mainly because it takes massive effort. Either that or you learn it from childhood.
IMHO I really don't think evil exist, The existence of evil comes from the concept of sin, and sin when examined closely from the religious aspect is anything that separates us from the Creator Entity. I really don't think people have or seldom do people ever root around the core foundations of their beliefs.. They would rather settle for dogma and doctrine. Confucius once wrote "To be in heaven is to be in the presence of ones Creator." I think the biggest problems with religion today is the fear of questioning their beliefs and then being condemned of that.. Being outside your belief community can be a terrifying event. Just because people have believed that evil exist for eons,, does not make it true.
