A little off topic - but I watched Panorama (BBC current affairs) on the companies we allow to "care" for our old people. I've never been so embarrassed by capitalism or ashamed. We are screwing everything up. None of our checks and balances are working from GM to letting our old people live in utter squalor. We have a bunch of Commissars we call Commissioners who can't even see how Stalinist they are. Our cops have just killed a bloke who had the misfortune to get caught up in the G20 protests (clubbed and thrown to the ground before a heart attack) - he wasn't even part of the protests, just trying to get home after selling newspapers. Other cops just stood by - they all lied until video footage emerged. The autopsy seems to have failed to find bruises - another is to be done.
