The opposite of good. I generally think of evil actions as being those done deliberately to cause pain and suffering without just reason. A complete lack of compassion. A sadistic sociopath. I've never met anyone I thought fell into this category. John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer come to mind as possible examples of evil people. An evil society or culture or religion might be one that is dedicated to the destruction of a whole race of people. For the sake of political correctness I'll refrain from providing an example. Cause that's just the kind of guy I am.
