All people are trying to do good, feed themselves, clothes themselves, satisfy their needs. Bad is when people's actions, or any other events, trod on your search for contentment. And, evil is just bad things you can't, or don't want to understand. It's occlusion from knowledge makes it that much more dark and scary.
