Plato at least discussed what needed to be done so that the Guardians
didn't just fold to "interests" Vam.  Never liked his stuff much
though.  I go some way with Tinker and am now by no means sure things
have progressed - probably the reverse - in the last 20 years.  There
is a "conspiracy" of some kind in which we fear the truth and acting
on equal footings with others.
