I need some good education. What's all this I hear about honor killings and public thrashings of little girls and so forth? Is this generally tolerated in more fundamentalist Islamic culture and why? Why don't more clerics come out and preach a kinder and gentler Islam and condemn the barbarism? My western guess is they are scared of the terrorists. I know I would be.
