They appear because once someone is determined to not be a spammer, we don't
moderate for content unless someone is riding the line on community
standards of behaviour. It's not up to us to determine what is important or
valid content; if so, you might find all content not in keeping with one
person's worldview being shunted into the discard bin.
Relevancy is a difficult thing to determine. Puppy's pasting in a short
story in the middle of a topical thread? That seems to be pretty clearly out
in left field. For the record, Puppy, I've mentioned before that there might
be better venues for your works of fiction. Interrupting an ongoing
conversation with one is most definitely NOT the place for it. I will once
again request that you restrain yourself from doing so.
