Enlightenment is not prevented when one resides in eternity. Humanity is moving inevitably towards this end. The only question is will ‘we’ kill off life here on earth before it is reached. This sadly has a high probability. So, said in other words, your term ‘never’ misses the mark and what I said/implied.
