   That depends on the perspective of the viewer.  To God, all events
are coincidental.  To those of us confined to a portion of the space-
time continuum, we only see a small part of the events, rather than
the entirety of them as God does, so we are less likely to 'notice'
coincidence.  When we do notice it, we perceive it in one of two ways:
   1) We don't grasp the 'meaning' and view the events as 'merely
coincidental'
                         or
   2) We DO grasp the meaning and view the events as a synchronicity.

The difference is in the eye of the beholder or, rather, in the mind
of the perceiver.
