Of course the Nobel Peace Prize is political. Just like the Nobel prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology and Medicine are scientific, and in Literature is artistic. Politics is a primary part of the character of peace which is a state of existence among human beings which, by definition, are political creatures. In fact, a part of all Nobel prizes is political because of that very fact.
