Well, I'm sure if you held a gun at their head or threatened a family
member of theirs they might.  But then again, you don't have to.
"Will power" is an AMAZING concept.  I love it!  I have heard so many
stories about a person who is on the brink of death and he/she
survives by sure will power.  For instance, I have had asthma my
entire life, and when I was 2 years old I had an asthma attack.  My
breathing was in critical state and there was no guarantee I would
live.  But either out of frustration or the will to live, I started
screaming and this opened my air ways just enough for the doctors to
stick an oxygen tube down my throat.  Whether it is the power of the
mind or soul, I can't say, but if one's will is very strong, then that
person can accomplish almost anything.

So, to return to your original question, it is possible to make
someone do something against their will, physically, but mentally that
is totally up to the victim.
