One of my beefs with Dawkins is that he hasn't identified the enemy correctly. (I must admit that I haven't read /The God Delusion/ yet. I wasn't even going to bother reading it, thinking it would only be telling me things I already knew, from a lifetime spent being for all practical purposes an atheist, but I read a critical review of it by another biologist, and through that filter I got the impression that Dawkins was actually saying more sensible things than he was being given credit for by his critics, so I will probably enjoy reading his book after all, if only to see some of my own thoughts and feelings being expressed better than I could.) Dawkins aside, I would like to be part of an attempt to understand the enemy.
