US Peace Corps has a group made up of PC vets with particular skills
called the Crisis Corps.  They respond to situations like Hiati,
worldwide.  I am a member, and contacted them the evening of the
quake, when I first heard of it (I don't watch a lot of TV).  They
have been dithering behind red tape, but plan to go "eventually".
Hopefully, I can bring you good news.
