I am un mutilated. Except for when I was 18 and my girl friend thought it would be really cool if I had my ear pierced. I knew this would mortify my dad which was another motivation at the time. No one told me I'd have to keep a fat stud in there and twist it regularly and it would bleed and get crusty and generally make me feel grossed out and ill all the time. Long since grown shut but I still have the tiny dimple to remind me of my youthful folly.
So, how much does a artful tat cost these days? Say, a detailed skull with a rose growing out of one of the eye sockets approximately 4 inches in diameter. Do you pick the ink yourself and does the cost change with the kind of colors? Are metallics available?
