Ohhh come now Pat, there is every reason to to believe that an atheist
can be perfectly ethical?

I would ask why you to consider that mostly every human being IS
ethical, and that the number of truely unethical people is a very very
tiny minority.  Faith in a creative God or non faith or even lack of
belife has absolutly nothing to do with ethics nor morality.
