Aaahh no Ian it's more in line with my self questioning my deeply held belifes, I'm more than propered to alter my thinking, as ever I have been.
I do belive in a creator God, increasingly I'm having problems in sortin just what Gods message to us is. In many religions I see simularites, and of course contradictions. My concern here is simply how to tell truth from fiction, or put another way, I'm after a diffinitive method to glean the word of God from the word of man. As an atheist I don't expect you to be able to help me with that one, your default stance must be 'it's all rot' Again let me reiterate, you know this of me anyway, I'm not the kind of religious man who wishes to convert or convice you, I do not wish to save your soul, I'm selfish in my quest for God, it's all about the Lee baby! What I do take issue with is denigration of my belifes for the sake of denigration. It serves no porpouse and only cuases undeeded tensions. You sir as ever are the very soul of consideration, we both know that there are things we will not agree on, this is fine by me, indeed I would not have it any other way. I get you meaning, about scripture being the proof of God non existance, it is a concern for me, but not as much as you would imagine. I belive that even the Bible holds some right gems form the mouth of God as well as the dross from mankind, ahhh sorting them from each otehr is the goal.
