Oh it most certainly does, as I can relate to that feeling VERY well.
I think it's a 'safe play' to act as if this is your last chance.
It's a bit like Pascal's Wager. Act as though this is your last life,
if not, then you get to try again, if it is, you'll be glad you did.
Now, bring that concept down to the hour...minute...second. Shouldn't
we always act in such a way as if each act may well be our last? For
how could we know that it isn't? I think the concept makes all-too-
much sense.

{snicker} It depends on what you mean by taking on the Demiurge. It
sounds kinda dangerous to me. Gnosis is far less stressful, trust
me. You see, gnosis is one of those things that, once you have it,
you KNOW; and you can chuckle about those days of doubt.
