These days, ME seems to be without protagonists, the likes of which
created and participated in such lively threads, many of which I
myself partook in from around Sept 2007. I have always valued it,
thanks to KC and all those brilliant people who'd congregate. Often,
it would keep me sane, cause to cheer me up, and leave me wondrous.

I know quite a few from the era outgrew the platform and have since
moved on to other things. There's never a day, however, when I have
not been to it, at least once, in the hope of reading something
amazingly honest, authentic, true, logical, poetic, beautiful, well
crafted, doubting, inclusive, new, or some such criterion that is
largely belied in our everyday experience with people, their concerns,
thoughts and preoccupations.

There definitely was a sense of oneness, characterised by this respect
we had for ALL ' accepted ' members, despite very sharp and
irreconcilable differences among them. The hunger and drive to
articulate our position and our responses did the rest.

Speaking of creativity, the standard was well nigh high and I often
felt spoilt for the choices there, like so many doorways to substance
and delight !

All said and done, I could always walk along in friendship, hand in
hand with others, theists and atheists and all in between, dualists
and non - dualists and everyone else !
